Air India, private airlines lift ban on Gaikwad

Air India and other private airline companies in India have reportedly lifted the ban on Lok Sabha MP Ravindra Gaikwad. According to reports, private carriers, including IndiGo, Jet, SpiceJet, GoAir, etc., had had earlier denied ticket to Gaikwad, after he allegedly assaulted an Air India staffer and hit him with his shoes. Notably, Gaikwad on Saturday tendered an apology to the Parliament.
