Government-operated airline carrier, Air India has reportedly begun operating its newly leased Airbus A320Neo with its first ever flight operated between New Delhi and Chennai. The first A320Neo aircraft with 161 passengers on board touched down at the Chennai International airport from the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday. Notably, Air India had inducted the latest fuel-efficient aircraft from European aviation major Airbus in its fleet on February 16.
