According to reports, Karnataka and Maharashtra are reportedly demanding the ban on Kambala, the buffalo racing sport, revoked. This comes after Tamil Nadu passed an ordinance to allow Jallikattu. Notably, Kambala was banned by the Supreme Court in 2014 after PETA filed a petition. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena is also planning to hold protests in Maharashtra against the prohibition on Kambala.
