Following the neighbour state Tamil Nadu’s Amma Canteens’ initiative that was welcomed by larger sections of the society, the Karnataka government has reportedly announced to set up ‘Namma Canteens’ in Bengaluru at a cost of Rs 100 crore. Reportedly, the canteens will provide breakfast at a cost of Rs 5, while lunch and dinner will cost Rs 10.
