South African limited-overs skipper AB de Villiers is reportedly planning to retire from Test cricket in order to extend his career until 2019 World Cup. According to reports, the 33-year-old cricketer is said to have informed Cricket South Africa about his plan last year. Notably, de Villiers had earlier sustained elbow injury and missed New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka Test series.
