The Central government has reportedly asked all the states to make Aadhaar card a mandatory for getting a driving license in India. The Centre has suggested this step to stop people from having multiple driving licenses under a single name. According to reports, the Union Road Transport Ministry has already begun the work to help state governments make Aadhaar mandatory.
