The Greater Chennai Corporation has reportedly sealed at least nine branches of Hotel Saravana Bhavan, popular chain of restaurants predominantly serving South Indian cuisine. Reports suggest that the reasons include no licence and lack of proper quality of service. Many of the regular patrons feel the quality of food is not as good as it used to be and many now consider the food overpriced as well, say reports.
