85% of students failed first year in Mumbai University

85% students of Mumbai University have reportedly failed their first-year exam. According to reports, over 12,000 students have blamed the change of syllabus and exam pattern for the bad result. Students further claimed that they were not informed about the syllabus changes and also that new textbooks were not given to them until the middle of the semester.
