Eight people die every day on an average in Delhi due to air pollution-related diseases, reportedly observed the Supreme Court on Monday. The court also asked the Centre to consider banning the use of fuels with high sulphur content by industries in NCR. However, the Centre replied that there was no alternative fuel that can be used in these industries.
