Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir reportedly informed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that as many as 77 cases of sedition were registered in different parts of the country during 2014-15. Citing a data by National Crime Records Bureau, Ahir said, “a total of 47 cases were registered in 2014 and 30 cases in 2015 under the offence of Sedition.”
