Aakash, a 7-year-old in Padur reportedly sat down near a TASMAC shop in his neighborhood holding a banner, titled: "Reject liquor, allow us to study" on Wednesday. As a result, the shop was reportedly shut for two hours. However, the store was opened later following an intervention from the VAO. Notably, the locals had been protesting against the TASMAC shop in the area for more than a month.
