Around 52 people were reportedly injured during the Jallikattu event in Alanganallur on Friday. According to reports, 17 persons were severely injured and were taken to nearby hospital. Notably, political leaders like DMK working president MK Stalin, BJP MP Pon Radhakrishnan have witnessed the sporting event.
