After meeting the protesters in Alanganallur, Madurai District Collector Veera Raghava Rao has reportedly said that 350 bulls will participate in Alanganallur Jallikattu on Sunday. He also added that 2,500 police personnel, led by Superintendent of Police, will be deployed. Further he said that Avaniyapuram Jallikattu team has requested to conduct Jallikattu on January 25.
