According to a report by Reuters, around 2 lakh residents located around USA’s tallest dam, the Oroville Dam, were urgently ordered to evacuate on Sunday, after heavy rainfall damaged a spillway. Official reports added that the dam could collapse at any moment. The California Department of Water Resources is reportedly releasing as much as 1,00,000 cubic feet of water per second from the main spillway to drain the lake.
