2 spectators died, and 80 persons were reportedly injured during a Jallikattu event at M Pudur area in Sivaganga district on Monday. According to reports, 32-year-old Thirunavakarasu, an engineering graduate, died on the spot after he was attacked by a bull, while another man died of shock when another bull ran towards him. Most of the injured were treated at the medical outpost set up at the venue, while a few others were hospitalized.
