According to a report by TOI, as many as two people were killed in the Jallikattu event held at Rapoosal in Pudukkottai district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as 26-year-old Mohan and 25-year-old Raja, who succumb to their injuries on the way to a hospital. Meanwhile, around 129 others suffered injuries during the jallikattu event.
