As many as 16 people, including a police DIG and an SSP, were allegedly killed and 50 injured after a bomb exploded outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Monday. The explosion reportedly occurred during a protest by chemists and pharmaceuticals against the government, reports added. Meanwhile, Pakistani terror outfit and Taliban's faction Jamaat-ul-Ahrar reportedly claimed responsibility for the blast.
