According to reports, at least 15 people died on Wednesday in a massive shootout between police and two rival drug gangs near the remote town of Las Varas in northern Mexico, authorities said. The shootout started as a firefight between rival drug trafficking gangs, then escalated when police arrived, say reports. Fifteen people, all from the drug gangs, died and five more were arrested, said Police.
