At least 13 people were fired to death while twelve others were injured in a fire that occurred at a fair price ration shop in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district reportedly on Friday. The incident took place when kerosene was being issued in the building. The state government said it has announced ₹4 lakh exgratia each for the deceased's kin.
