Today, let us see the top 2 players who may be specifically targeted in the IPL 2020 auction by 5 IPL teams including Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
Being one of the most successful teams in the IPL franchise, CSK made a mark with their smart investments in previous auctions. During IPL 2018 auction CSK bought the right-handed batsman Kedhar Jadhav for INR 7.8 crore. Unfortunately, he could not deliver owing to his injuries and unfair situations.
According to the latest sources including Dailymail UK, Tom Banton who has been exceptional with the bat for English team Somerset has grabbed the attention of CSK for the upcoming auction.
The right-handed batsman turned out to be the top run-scorer in this year T20 blast and he has also been included in England's 5-match T20 series against New Zealand.
The 20-year old is already a part of Brisbane heat in Australia's T20 Big Bash and Qalandars in the UAE's T10 League.
