Food poisoning is very rare in a flight journey but it is not completely avoidable. In 1982, 10 employees were affected by food poison while flying from Boston to Lisbon. The victims include Pilot, Co-Pilot and Flight Engineer. Fortunately, the flight returned back to Boston which avoided major risk.
