Dulquer Salmaan will be appearing for the first time in Telugu cinema with Mahanati, starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Dulquer plays the role of Gemini Ganesan, in this biopic film about late actress Savithri.
 

Dulquer shared his feelings about dubbing for the first time in Telugu through his Facebook post. He said, "Don't think I've worked this hard for exams even !! Giving it my everything to dub in Telugu for the first time !"

Mahanati is also made in Tamil, as Nadigaiyar Thilagam, and the film is scheduled to hit the screens on May 9.
