Malayalam film 'Ka Bodyscapes' is under the CBFC process for last one year. Initially, Censor Board head Pahlaj Nihalani refused to certify the film. The makers of the film once again sent the movie for certification, but the movie was still refused to certify even after several attempts.
Reports claim that Nihalani refused to certify the film stating that the content of the film denigrates female characters. After many arguments and legal interferences, the court sent an 18 member team to Thiruvananthapuram to view the movie on 28th July. Sadly, amongst the 18 members, nine members are willing to certify the film, and the other nine members feel it will be inappropriate to certify the film.
The 18 member team gave this statement couple of hours back today (August 2nd), and this indeed is again a bad news to the makers. Reports say that the film portrays the relationship between two men against few real occurrences that shook the conservative Kerala society prompting closeted Kerala gays to come out in support. This core content seemed controversial and also official claim that such films can bring disturbances in the society among the people and hence decides not to satisfy the film.
