Pooja Hegde is basking on the resounding success of the Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film was produced by Geetha Arts in association with Haarika and Hassine Creations.

Post that, the Mugamoodi actress has welcomed 2020 with another exciting news. Pooja Hegde has signed up to play the female lead opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the Farhad Samji directorial Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Set to release on Eid 2021, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, who are also bankrolling the sports biopic 83, which stars Ranveer Singh and Jiiva among others.

Salman Khan was previously seen in Dabangg 3, directed by Prabhu Deva. The actor is presently shooting for Radhe, also directed by Prabhu Deva. Tamil actor Bharath will be playing an important role in the film.
