MAGADHEERA MAKERS FILE CASE AGAINST THIS MUCH AWAITED FILM

S S Rajamouli's Magadheera which was released in 2009 went on to become a blockbuster for the makers and a career best film for Ram Charan. The makers of the film Allu Arvind of Geetha Arts has now filed a case against Sushant Singh Rajput's upcoming film Raabta.
Raabta is one of the most expected Bollywood films of the season which feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the lead. The film is directed by Dinesh Vijan and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Homi Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar.
Allu Arvind in his press note stated. "This is to inform to the large public that we, Geetha Arts the original makers of the film Magadheera felt through various sources including the trailer and publicity material that the Hindi film 'Raabta' is being remade violating copy rights. Hence we approached the Hydrebad Court seeking injunction against the film's release. The Hyderabad Court issued notice to Raabta Producers and posted the matter for 1st June to decide whether Raabta should be permitted to release."
Raabta was earlier scheduled to release on June 9, 2017. Wiith just a few more weeks before the release such plagiarism allegation is sure to hurt the makers of Raabta.
