Shahrukh Khan’s next role
Oct 24, 2013 Shahrukh aka the King Khan has scaled many peaks in tinsel town but the latest one seems to have crossed the border. Yes, the Bollywood Badshah has recently been appointed as the goodwill ambassador for South Korea. It has been stated that it took a lot of coaxing from the South Korean side to convince SRK to take upon this new role.
For Shahrukh though, such roles and honor are not new as in 2008, he was awarded the title of ‘Datuk’ from the Governor of Malaysia’s southern Malacca state which is said to be equivalent to British Knighthood.
The President of South Korea Park Geun-hye will be visiting India in January 2014 and their government is keen that SRK visits them before. However, more than that, it appears that SRK is brought in the picture to bring about better understanding between the people of both the countries. Anyways, wishing Shahrukh Khan all the best in his latest endeavor!
