Before commenting about film Thuppaki... Let's welcome the change in Vijay's approach in selecting stories and directors... 

Now, I come to Thuppaki

Direction 

All the scenes were well planned and executed. Even though the storyline is old, the presentation of the movie appeals good and fast in pace....

Big applauds to director.

Master plan has worked well in the movie as well as in on screen. Yes, he has put the logic aside and made this film for Vijay’s fans as well as for others.

Lead cast and their performance

Vijay performed the role easy and he excels in action scenes and dance sequence... I enjoyed it...

Kajal looks pretty and there were no scope for performance but still people enjoyed the romance scenes between Vijay and Kajal. However, chemistry between them would have been better...

Supporting actors 

Vidyut, he is very stylish actor and he did his job pretty good.  One good thing about his acting is that he delivers his dialogues short and crisp.

Jayram excels whenever we saw him on screen... no surprise and he is no more stranger for that sort of acting...

Sathyan - I liked his innocent face and humorous acting with his vocal variation, the comedy scenes travelled along with storyline that's good...

Music - Background

Background music was good and songs would have been better.

Technical aspects

Had more scope to introduce technical things but director and his team had taken the right technical that is required for this movie...

Editing is good and there were no confusion.

Overall the movie has all the commercial elements and can be watched along with family... the movie got released at right time and all the best for Vijay and other actors.
