A miracle has happened this year after few years. The films of three heroes were released with this Pongal, unusual for any recent previous Pongal or any other festivals.

Construct a triangle , the top point with Aadukalam , Rt lower point with Kavalan and Left lower point with Siruthai..Sure the triangle will be equal in all aspects..In other words these three movies may fulfill the likings and tastes of all the audience........ B & C center Mass audience and children may like Siruthai , While B & C mass and the class audience of A center would like Aaadukalam and surely Kavalan will fulfill the tastes of the family audience of all classes...So well balanced Pongal ?

Again I would say people may have the confusion for the weekend selection of their films still... Because Some may recommend Siruthai and some others may recommend Kavalan , while Aadukalam might be recommended by the rest..Still debates are going on among the movie goers , which one is best..I would like to share my personal reviews about these three films.

SIRUTHAI :

Positive points :

1. Mass Masala Movie.
2. Karthi-Santhanam Combo's comedy.
3. Karthi's peculiar mannerisms.

Negative points :

1. Overdose Telugu odour.
2. Lack of crisp screenplay.
3. Improper placement of songs.
4. Predictable Climax fight.

Verdict : Strictly for hardcore Masala film viewers and children ..

KAVALAN :

Positive points :

1. Vijay has returned to next door guy concept.
2. Twist in climax.
3. Vadivelu's sensible & unusual Comedy.
4. No violence and double meaning dialogs.
5. Vijay's performance.
6. Siddique's neat direction.

Negative points :

1. Lack of heart touching songs for a Love story.
2. Slowly moving story.

Verdict : Yes Vijay returns...Hats off !.

AADUKALAM :

Positive points :

1. Exemplary narration of Vetri Maran .
2. Yathe Yathe Ennaacho !
3. Realistic Danush.
4. Thrilling pre interval session.
5. Natural characters.
6. Smiling Taapsee.

Negative points :

1. Second half little bit slow.
2. Lengthy second half.

Verdict : Kurinji Poo.

If a couple with two kids see all the three films, husband may like Aadukalam more, while wife may like Kavalan more and the kids may like Siruthai..So I would say this is a perfect triangular Pongal treat..
