I watched Yudham Sei in Pune and the feeling I had when I came out of the theater was something that I’ve never experienced before. Yudham Sei is far superior in terms of detailing done in every scene of the movie that when you step out of theater you find a hundred things around you in every step you take that you wouldn't have noticed and sensed before in your life.
There is enough time for the audience to enjoy the complete emotion of every scene in the movie because Mysskin has created the scenes in such a way that you get immersed in it. As an audience you don't have to adjust your mind to the quickly changing scenes. (A simple parallel to understand this is panchathanthiram where at some places there was so much of comedy that the audiences were still laughing for the scenes that had happened 2 minutes before). But in Yudham Sei, if there is an emotion it can be felt right there in that scene and it hits your mind. Mysskin has truly given an out of the world experience for the audience by making their mind stick to all the scenes of the movie and not just 50-70% of movie. Hats off to Mysskin and his entire team for making such a wonderful film! Gokul Gururajan gokul.gururajan@gmail.com
