Enthiran is making new records every
where. Here are some news from reliable
sources publish on Canadian Multicultural

Enthiran/Robot is making new records
in Box Office
As per the official numbers, Enthiran/Robot
has collected 2.1 million US Dollars.
The box office network reported as below:
“…..Speaking of USA, what
has come as the bigger surprise is the
film Endhiran/Robot may have set a new
record for Indian films in USA box office
by taking in over $2 million for a 3
day weekend. That beats even the US
opening weekend mark set by Shahrukh
Khan's My Name is Khan, which failed
to impress much in India, but took a
big number in USA at least at around
$1.9 million for a 3 day weekend opening.
But Endhiran has taken a bigger opening
with its core audience in India and
beaten the likes of Shah Rukh Khan starrer
MNIK overseas in US also. The irony
is Shahrukh Khan was also in consideration
for Robot before Rajnikanth decided
to make it. If the film can sustain,
it may even catch 3 Idiot's mark of
$6.5 million in US…..”
Enthiran has raised surprise with Hollywood

big noise for the frame came from new regional and
niche titles. The Tamil language Robot rewrote the
record books with the biggest ever North American
debut with a $2.1 million tally. The simultaneous
release of Anjaana Anjaani from Bollywood’s
Hindi sector was also impressive with a $560,000
bow. In Canada, the Brit import StreetDance 3D generated
a hefty $423,000 and the indigenous Fubar II rang
up $209,000 from just 30 venues….”
No
Indian movies can not beat Hollywood movie BO total
collection in US as it is the main base for English
movies. But it is possible to beat in average collection
which is calculated collection per Theatre. Endhiran
has already proved to be number one in average collection
in North America (US, Canada, Mexico).
