We saw it in Ko, then in Chathurangam and now for the third time of the year in Mayakkam Enna. Heroes having a camera beside them are taking the box-office by storm! Picture Perfect! This time, it's not a political thriller, but a genre rarely experimented by film-makers. It had everything a not-so-regular moviegoer would want. You're like my sister, alright? And slap! Here you go, astounding performance from Dhanush on par with Kadhal Kondein and Aadukalam, and was she a debutant to Kollywood? After a long time, a heroine had something to do with the movie, instead of the regular dream songs and babyish acting! I just don't feel like giving the storyline, as I guess it will dampen the experience. Richa, you made me sit up and take notice. G.V Prakash is the brainwave behind Mayakkam Enna, the songs are so intoxicating that you feel the aura of the tunes. Ramji's cinematography, is what I think will lift the movie's spirits high. But it doesn't come as a surprise as Selvaraghavan's movie is bound to have admirable cinematography! A romantic-Drama, Mayakkam Enna surely inebriates you with love and sympathy and definitely stays in your heart. Prithvi Kanth pritz.bhas@gmail.com
