Hello Madam,
I am also one of your fans for your brilliant acting starting from Nenjathai Killathe to Seedan. Your par excellence acting, to name few Tamil movies like Sindhu Bairavi, En Purushanthaan Enakku Mattumthaan, En Bommukutty Ammavukku, Manadhil Urudhi Vendum etc are very well received by audience and made me your fan for your brilliant acting. I like your dialogues penned in Thiruda Thiruda, Raavanan and the only one directorial movie "Indhira" for its social awareness.
The one thing which I feel that you are not meeting the viewer's expectation is hosting a show like Paadava Duet Paadalai. We all know that you are a good dialogue writer but when it comes to on-screen you are not putting the right words for the situation during hosting. To name few, I would say there is no punctuation, there is no proper pause and some talks which are not related to the topic, always taking about you being so proud to be in Tamil cinema for 31 years, talking much about ARR etc.
I feel like you are not making your best when it comes to hosting a program on a television. One more thing I would like to convey is we all know that ARR was given a chance for music direction by Mani Ratnam and KB Sir. But you need not mention always that ARR is your family member so many times while you host a show. That is making audience sick to listen to the same story in a single day. If I am wrong, please watch PDP show telecasted on Apr 13. Please control your emotions when it comes to talking about ARR. KB sir has introduced our superstar, Ulaganayagan, Vivek and many others but I don't think KB sir is always making a note that he has introduced all of them in any media (at least not plenty of times in one show). I am hoping that you would give your BEST to anchor PDP or any other show on a TV as you did your best at acting, dialogue writing on a big screen.
Note: Neeya Naana is being watched by public not because of the topics that they discuss but purely because of Gopinath's way of handling or seeing the issues in a different way and giving his best hosting.
