After
Gemini, Vikram had two consecutive flops, Samurai
and King. So he needed to give a big hit. This
time he joined hands with Dharani. The duo had
already given a hit with Dhil. Dhool was produced
by A.M.Ratnam,
who
is known to be a lavish producer. The movie
had all the ingredients such as comedy, romance
and action in the right mix to provide a mass
entertainer. The screenplay for the movie was
fast-paced and the climax was conceptualized
very nicely.
