Sridevi
was a young child when she entered films. Her most memorable
film was Nam naadu. She held her own working with stalwarts
like MGR and Pandaribai.
As
she grew into a beautiful young woman, she strode into our
hearts as Mayil of 16 vayadhinile. A streak of hits followed
and it was crowned by her excellent performance in Moonram
pirai. She continued her success in Hindi and became a household
name in North India with Mr. India. Now married and with two
beautiful daughters, she has turned to film production.
