Silambarasan
is the elder son of the multi-faceted T. Rajendar. His mother
Usha was also a good actress. Brought up in a household
which ate and breathed cinema, it is no wonder that Simbu
imbibed the passion for the medium.
He
mostly acted in his father’s films. He was also popular
as the Little Superstar. He did commit the mistake of imitating
the real superstar but soon learnt from his follies. Now,
he has chalked out his own path and the success of Manmadhan
and Thotti
Jaya are ample proof of this. His next
film, Vallavan
will also see him as the director.
