grip over the pulse of the audience. He does
not pretend to make socially conscious films
or films with message. He is honest when he
says that it is his duty to entertain the paying
public and therefore his films are fully commercial
ventures.
In both Tirupachi and Sivakasi, he has used
the star image of Vijay to the hilt to give
the audience a rollicking tale with all the
elements of action, songs, dance and sentiment.
He is now directing Ajith in the movie Tirupathi.
