Director Vishnu Vardhan unfolds a story in the backdrop of the Chennai underworld in his movie in the making, Pattiyil. The entire film is being shot in real locations in Chennai. Sets are completely banned. The producer must be saving a lot of money then! There is a great camaraderie among the crew and artistes.

At breaks, of they go to some sequestered places to play cricket. It looks like Vishnu Vardhan, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja, one time college mates, vibe very well and the spirit just rubs off to the unit people.
