The wedding of Pavatharini and Sabiraja took place at Mookambikka temple on 16th September and reception of

the wedded couple held at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar hall, Santhome Chennai. The actor Superstar Rajinikanth with the look of an Iyappa Bhaktha came along with his family and the stars present were Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, Vijayakumar, Napolean, Dhanush and others. Among the actress Manorama, Radhika, Kushboo, and Meena gave an appealing look at the function.. Director K Balachandar, Cheran, Vasu were among the guests who attended the reception. Poet Vaali had penned the song for this occasion tuned by Ilayaraja himself. Political leaders M K Stalin, K Veeramani and Dr. K Krishnaswami were also present for the evening function.
