worked together in a
movie
titled, Pillaiyarpattiyum,
Kandhu Vattiyum. Incensed
by
the
infamy to their holy
town, its residents
filed a case praying
for a change of name.
They mentioned in their
application that the
title suggested as if
people belonging to
the city were extortionist
money-lenders. Therefore,
the name of the film
ha been changed to Pillayarpettaiyum,
Kandhu Vattiyum. The
film will hit the screen
on the 23rd of this
month.
