Boopathy Pandian directed Dhanush in Devadaiyai Kandein. Although a neat film, it did not do exactly well. Nevertheless, Boopathy Pandian has decided to cast Dhanush again in his next film. Srikanth Deva is the music director and Vairamuthu is the lyricist. Boopathy also received compliments from Superstar Rajini who appreciated the good work in Devadaiyai and asked him to do better in the next film. He had also advised him to include more comedy in the film. Well, Rajini does care for his son-in-law!
