WONDER WOMAN MOVIE REVIEW
What is it about?
Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress- model just fits the role so perfectly. She plays the character name Diana, which is sure to stay in the hearts of audiences for few years. Diana, an undefeatable warrior and also the princess of the Amazon believes in destroying and killing the Ares who she feels is the God of war. The movie explains how Zeus (God) and Ares (God of War) could be real and help humans live a peaceful life rather bringing discomfort towards each other and destroying the world in the name of superior powers and wars.
What makes the film?
The story starts when the young Diana hears about Zeus and Ares from her mother and then decides to kill Ares and undergoes training. Wonder Woman has a perfect script which slowly takes the subject from a periodic setup to the war field of the name of science and weapons. It then leads to a climax where Gal Gadot takes absolute charge to rescue the lives of thousands and to bring back peace in the world.
What doesn't work?
There is this one common drawback of all superhero and fantasy films that is the believability or the acceptance of the powers that these ladies possess. Similarly, Wonder Woman also has that believability factor that may come while you watch the film and strike you to think if this could actually happen. Well, apart from that, the movie also has a small portion of disappointment from the VFX perspective, few frames look cosmetic and artificial which could have been a lot better in a film like this.
What worked?
Patty Jenkins's direction with a quality script and appropriate screenplay has beautifully worked and Gal Gadot's screen presence and her execution have taken the film to a greater height. The love portion between the two, Chris Pine and Gal Gadot has worked well, and Chris Pine proves that he is the only man who can handle this super-woman in the calmest way possible.
Well?
Wonder Woman is a fantasy film, which has a unique script and story to impress all. The film is high on action, some extraordinary visuals and a gripping screenplay.
