Disney has brought life once again to one of its all-time classic comic stories. This time it is way better in terms of its production quality and technicalities.

The Jungle Book, in a nutshell, is about an innocent boy (Mowgli) who is raised in a jungle by a family of wolves and also a Panther who goes by the name Bagheera. The boy’s life eventually gets into danger as Shere Khan the tiger, wants him killed as he doesn’t like humans. The Panther tries to convince the boy to leave the jungle but there is something or the other that keeps the boy from leaving the jungle. How will the poor little boy encounter the dangerous Shere Khan is how the rest of the story unfolds.

The Jungle Book is a joy for every generation. The film has everything that could keep you on toes from scratch to finish. It is thoroughly enjoyable and gripping. It has some breathtaking visuals and even the other technical departments shine outstandingly well.

It has quite a lot of suspense moments which are crafted very well. Beyond all this, the film carries a beautiful, emotional connect that sits perfectly well with the script. It is not overdone. It has a perfect blend of suspense and emotional drama added with some extraordinary 3D elements that make The Jungle Book, a trip to remember.

Neel Sethi has done an amazing job. His expressions are top class and to do all that with the CG to support him, makes his performance even more special.

It is an adventure story for the kids with splendid visuals and great sound design, but what is even more impressive is the fact that it is crafted so well with a heart beneath the entire visual extravaganza.

It is a film that you can sit and watch with your children at any time and enjoy it. We would have grown up listening to this classic story and to see the same story again in action could wake many sweet childhood memories.

The life of the film comes from the characters. If not for them, The Jungle Book would not be the emotional rollercoaster it is now. Baloo (Bear), Bagheera (Tiger), Kaa (Snake)  and King Louie(Giant Money) are some of the characters that will stay in your heart for days. The voice artists role plays a pivotal role in bringing life to all the characters.

The charm of the comic has been perfectly carried over into a beautifully made masterpiece.

Verdict: A classic that you can sit and watch with your children at any time and enjoy it!
