This weeks 25 crore budgeted
Acid factory bombed. With a
6 crore 1st week gross, the
movie is looking at a final
of 7-8 crores, thanks to Diwali
biggies. Released with 800 prints
this factory is going to get
majorly hit. It would also be
quite interesting to see how
the multiplexes can get their
extra percentage of share when
the movie doesn't make the 10
crore figure in the major 10
multiplexes from its 2nd and
3rd week, when its quite evident
that the movie would not even
cross the 3rd week in almost
all the multiplexes.
Wake Up Sid is still going strong
in the cities as its sophomore
fall was less than 50% which
is a big achievement by itself.
With around 24 crore pocketed
till now the movie is heading
for a close finish estimated
to be around the 30 crore mark.
Wake up Sid can be termed as
an average grosser.
'Do Knot Disturb' did little
to disturb Sid as it crashed
heavily with a troubling 70%
fall which made its gross reach
18 crores now. With 'All the
best' ready to storm the theatres
which caters to the same audience
as 'Do Knot Disturb', the movie
can expect to bow out of the
race soon with a total gross
coming close to 19.5 crores.
Do Knot Disturb can easily be
termed a flop due to its relatively
high budget.
