- The Competition consist of multiple rounds, including:
1. Online Preliminary Rounds
2. Semi-Final Round
3. Grand Finale
Online Preliminary Round:
Participants must register by submitting a good short film of their own direction in any genre.
Each participant can register with a minimum of one short film and maximum up to three short films.
The Top 25 Best filmmakers will be selected for the Semi-Final Round.
Participants selected for the Semi-Final Round will be notified either through WhatsApp, Email, text message or phone call.
Semi-Final Round:
The 25 selected filmmakers will have 60 days to create three short films, each one in Romance, Comedy, and Commercial Sponsor Film genres.(Duration : 5 - 10 minutes)
These films must be newly created and should not be a copy of any other existing story/ movie/ short film. All the short films will be published on Behindwoods Ice platform.
From these 25 filmmakers, the top 5 will be selected to the Grand Finale.
Grand Finale:
Renowned Judges will evaluate those top 5 short filmmakers and the final three winners will be revealed during the grand finale event.
All three winners will get an opportunity to pitch their story for a feature film to be produced by Behindwoods.
If the story is shortlisted by the Behindwoods productions team, the Filmmaker will win a chance to direct the feature film, which will be produced by Behindwoods.
4. AWARDS AND PRIZES:
- Winners: The top three filmmakers in the Finals will receive a Cash Prize & a Life Changing Opportunity.
Cash Prize:
1. First Prize Winner will win a cash prize of Rs 3 Lakh.
2. Second Prize Winner will win a cash prize of Rs. 2 Lakh.
3. Third Prize Winner will win a cash prize of Rs.1 Lakh.
All the cash prizes will be transferred to the bank details provided by the Winners, with the applicable Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) as per tax regulations.
Life Changing Opportunity:
All three winners will get an opportunity to narrate their story for a Feature film to be produced by Behindwoods.
If the story is shortlisted by the Behindwoods productions team, the Filmmaker will win a chance to direct the Feature film, which will be produced by Behindwoods.
