The latest happening between new boy Jai Akash and Gambeeram debutante Pranadhi is doing the rounds. The incident on the sets of Gurudeva seems to prove this. The story goes that Jai and Pranadhi had to shoot an intimate scene for their latest Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by Jaffar. The scene was canned by an assistant in the absence of Jaffar. The assistant was not happy with the reaction of the lead pair and took retakes. A frustrated Jai argued that the scene was okay after the eighth take. The assistant did not agree and apparently Jai slapped him. The incident was reported to Jaffar who pacified both of them. On enquiry, Jai said, “Pranadhi does not know Telugu and did not give proper lip sync for the dialogues. I requested the assistant to make do with the best of the shots but he did not agree. We only argued and I did not slap him.” Ahem!
