Vijay and director Ramana hit it off well in Thirumalai. It marked the beginning of a string of hits for Vijay like Madura, Gilli and Tiruppachchi. Keeping this sentiment in mind, Vijay reportedly approached Ramana to work under him. The director obliged with a good story which impressed both Vijay and his father, S.A. Chandrasekar. So, Chandrasekar will produce the film and the trio are busy discussing the details of the new project.
