Bharathiraja’s upcoming film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum has again gone through an alteration in the casting. Roja, who was to do the role of a wine seller and the mother of Karthika Nair, has opted out of the film. Lack of facilities is speculated to be the reason behind the decision of Roja. Actress Renuka has stepped into the shoes of Roja.

This is not the first time the film is undergoing a change in the cast list. Ameer was to star as the protagonist of the film, after Parthipan was dropped. But the character was eventually taken over by Manoj Bharathiraja.

The revised cast list now features the names of Manoj, Karthika, Renuka and Meenal. GV Prakash is doing the music and Kannan is helming the camera.
