One time glamorous actress Malavika has hinted at a comeback to films if she is offered something akin to Sridevi's comeback vehicle, English Vinglish. The 33 year old Malavika is currently the mother of two kids and settled in Mumbai. She wishes to do a female oriented film with a strong social message, on her comeback. 

But, she rules out films in the near future as her kids require her attention and she can't afford travelling to a lot of outdoor locations. Since her debut in 1999, she has been a popular star all over the South with popular item songs like 'Vaalameenukkum', the evergreen 'yellow saree' number. She is interested in doing more item numbers provided the lyrics and dance moves aren't vulgar.
