The Karthik Subburaj directed Pizza, starring Vijay Sethupathy and Ramya Nambeesan is releasing on October 19th. Sangam cinamas is releasing the film all over the state. The makers, through this film are introducing 7.1 surround sound to Tamil Cinema.

Instead of using the sound effects from the library, the audiographers have taken the pain to create the original sounds for the film. The 7.1 is said to provide a better experience than the Dolby. “The sound moves around the audience, just like the 3D does for visuals,” explains the sound designers, about the new technology.

Karthik Subburaj feels that the audience can feel the difference in sound mainly due to the depth the 7.1 provides.

This romantic thriller has cinematography and editing by Gopi Amarnath and Leo John Paul respectively.
