Sona Heiden yesterday requested the presence of prominent media and press people to issue a clarification on a recent controversy surrounding her. Earlier last week a sister concern of a reputed Tamil magazine had carried an interview of Sona that quoted her saying things about men which did not go down well with the audience.

The glamour girl issued a statement that denied saying any such things to the reporter. She completely dismissed sections of the interview as being fabricated for publicity. She said she was disappointed that such a honorable magazine could behave so unprofessionally.

She has taken legal action against the publication and the reporter and filed a defamation case against them.
